Marketing Specialist Intern
Aleo BME is a biomedical engineering company focused on biomaterials and developing innovative technologies for the medical field. From May 2021 through May 2022, I worked with the team as a Marketing Specialist Intern, primarily supporting the marketing of ElaSkin® Liquid Bandage.
In this role, I translated a biomedical product into accessible, engaging marketing for consumer audiences.
I developed and executed email and digital advertising campaigns, created promotional and coupon graphics, managed website content, and supported e-commerce marketing initiatives. I also analyzed campaign performance and explored new strategies for reaching and engaging target audiences.
My work included coordinating email campaigns reaching more than 8,000 consumers, developing digital advertisements and pop-up campaigns, and managing content across the ElaSkin and Aleo BME websites. This experience gave me an early opportunity to combine creative marketing with the unique communication needs of a biomedical company.
